Paint Correction.

Three correction stages — each calibrated to the severity of paint defects, the condition of the vehicle, and the standard of finish required. Correction is not a single fixed service. It is a process, scaled appropriately.

Stage One is a single-stage polish that removes light surface imperfections and enhances gloss on paint that is in generally good condition. It is an enhancement, not a full correction — designed to improve clarity and depth without the time commitment of deeper work.

Using a machine polisher with a light-cut compound or finishing polish, Stage One addresses fine swirl marks, light water spots, and minor oxidation. It will not resolve deep scratches or heavily marred paint. What it will do is meaningfully improve the appearance of paint that has dulled from regular washing or light environmental exposure.

  • Paint shows light swirl marks or minor wash-induced hazing
  • Gloss and depth have decreased but no significant scratching is present
  • You want an improvement in finish before applying protection
  • Budget or timeline does not allow for a full two-stage correction
An inspection is recommended before booking. Stage One will not resolve moderate or heavy defects — if your paint requires deeper correction, Stage Two will deliver a more complete result.

Stage Two is our most thorough single-session paint correction. A cut compound removes the defects; a refining polish restores clarity and maximises gloss. The result is paint that looks as close to new as machine polishing can achieve — without compromising clear coat thickness.

This two-step process uses progressively finer abrasives to first remove defects and then refine the finish. Swirl marks, buffer trails, water etching, light scratches, and moderate oxidation are addressed in the correction phase. The finishing pass brings the surface to maximum reflectivity. Paint thickness is monitored throughout to ensure integrity is maintained.

  • Paint shows moderate to heavy swirl marks or visible scratching
  • Water spots or light etching are present on the surface
  • You are preparing for ceramic coating application
  • You want the most thorough correction available in a single visit
Stage Two is the recommended pre-coating service. A paint decontamination and clay bar treatment is included before polishing begins — every time.

By Assessment
Inspection required before booking

Restore is priced individually. No two vehicles requiring this level of work present the same condition, timeline, or outcome. Contact Michael to arrange an assessment.

Restore is intended for vehicles that need significant attention due to heavy use, long gaps in maintenance, or accumulated wear. This service focuses on correcting issues — not masking them.

It is a time-intensive, methodical process that prioritises results over speed. Each vehicle is evaluated individually to determine the appropriate level of correction, cleaning, and recovery required. Multiple polish stages, specialised compounds, and extended machine time are applied wherever the condition demands it. There is no fixed scope — the work continues until the result is right.

  • The vehicle has visible neglect or heavy soiling affecting the paint surface
  • Deep scratches, heavy oxidation, or significant etching are present
  • Previous maintenance has been inconsistent or improperly executed
  • Interior condition requires deep intervention alongside exterior work
  • The vehicle is being returned to service or prepared for sale
Because of the scope involved, Restore services are assessed carefully to ensure expectations, timelines, and outcomes are aligned before any work begins. Call Michael to discuss your vehicle before booking.
The Process

What Paint Correction Actually Does.

Paint defects are not on the surface — they are in it. Correction removes a microscopic layer of clear coat to level the paint and eliminate the scratches and swirls that scatter light.

01
Decontamination
Paint is chemically decontaminated and clay-barred to remove bonded contamination — iron fallout, tar, industrial deposits — that would otherwise interfere with polishing. You cannot correct paint that is contaminated.
02
Correction
A machine polisher with a cut-grade compound abrades the clear coat to the depth of the defects. Swirls, scratches, water etching, and buffer trails are levelled out. Paint thickness is monitored throughout. No guesswork.
03
Refinement & Protection
A finishing polish removes any micro-marring left by the cutting stage and brings the surface to maximum gloss. The corrected paint is then sealed or coated to lock in the result and protect the investment.

How It Works.

01
Contact Michael
Call, text, or WhatsApp to describe your vehicle and its condition. Paint correction starts with a conversation — not an online checkout.
02
Inspection & Recommendation
Michael assesses your paint in person or via photos and recommends the correct stage. No upselling — you'll only be quoted for what the vehicle actually needs.
03
Quote & Appointment
A fixed price is agreed before any work begins. Your appointment is scheduled at a time that works for you. No deposits required for standard correction services.
04
Correction Completed
Work is performed on-site. You'll see the difference before the job is finished. Every panel is inspected under light before the vehicle is returned to you.

Not sure what your paint needs?

Send Michael a few photos and he'll tell you exactly which stage is appropriate — honestly, without pressure.
